Michael found an area with a bunch of restaurants close to the hotel in Shinjuku. He immediately took to Himawari Sushi, a conveyor belt sushi place with really good sushi at very reasonable prices. He went back many times.
Rokurinsha (六厘舎) is supposed to be Tokyo’s best tsukemen (dipping ramen). We were not disappointed. They even give you a bib just in case.
Everybody likes George Clooney. In Japan, they love him.

Shinjuku Station is the world‘s busiest railway station, and our hotel was just a few steps away. Across the way was Takashimaya.

Burnt miso ramen at Gogyo. We had to find this place in a residential district, but it was worth it!
One of the most luxurious shopping areas in the world. The street was closed off to cars, so it was pleasantly uncrowded to walk along the street even though there were a lot of people.
